The IPWEA NSW Annual Conference is a major event for the Public Works Industry providing a venue for technical updates, learning, workshops, discussion, interaction with industry specialist and networking opportunities. The theme of the conference is how to manage Climate Change at a local level.
Ensure your organisation is an active participant in specialist workshops and presentations in how to implement climate change management in your local area. Keynote presenter, for these important sessions will be Professor John Martin, the Director of La Trobe University’s Centre for Sustainable Regional Communities. Professor Martin currently assists IPWEA National in developing climate change adaptation strategies and is a highly regarded leader in this increasingly important field.
This year, the conference will run in conjunction with NSW Roads Directorate Annual Congress, as well as a day devoted to Road Safety Officers and their issues.
In addition, the annual IPWEA Excellence Awards will be conducted as part of the three days conference.
Please Note: Only delegates purchasing the Mega Deal registration and NSW Annual Conference registration include all social program events. Those purchasing the Roads Congress registration, Road Safety Forum registration, Day registration (Tues) and Day registration (Wed) must pay for each social program ticket.
